N. R. Bernard is a photographer specializing in food photography and styling, as well as artistic and environmental portraiture. She studied photography at Boston Universitiy's Center for Digital Imaging Arts and has been actively working in the restaurant industry for more than ten years now (and this includes, but is not limited to: attending the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York). In her younger years,
N. R. Bernard was a sketch artist and a member of the National Art Honors Society. As a result of this, some of her sketch art has been displayed in the Wang Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
